I’;ve always had a?fondness?for greenhouses but thanks to Joanna Gaines’;s greenhouse on Fixer Upper, Dan and I have decided that one day we actually need to get ourselves one. They’;re beautiful! Neither of us are particularly great at gardening but it’;s one of those things we hope to someday learn how to do and do well. Like an old married couple?spending their weekend in the garden together. Oh, I just realized I want to become my parents. How nice. Even though we lack the gardening ability, we love looking at greenhouses, spending time in gardensaccent pillow case baby burlap housewarming gift, nurseries, taking long walks on trails and exploring parks. Just being around beautiful outdoor spaces relaxes us so why shouldn’;t our future backyard be a sanctuary? Also, did you know?that greenhouses come in kits? because I didn’;t until I put together this post.

It’;s just a question of what style of greenhouse fits you best. I love the look of white greenhouses but I wouldn’;t object to a simple wooden greenhouse if the setting was right, like the one below in Ojai, California. If I lived in a Mediterranean climate like Ojai, I’;d probably want a gorgeous wooden greenhouse, but if I lived somewhere lush and green like the PNW, I think the white would make a beautiful contrast. There are many so styles available that it’;s kind of daunting, but if you’;re a greenhouse fan like I am, you’;ll enjoy this roundup of greenhouse inspiration.

Joanna Gaines Working in Her Greenhouse | HGTV ?–; Since it was Joanna’;s greenhouse what inspired this post, her greenhouse needed to be featured in this roundup. She got this gorgeous greenhouse from a client who planned on tearing it down and it’;s perfect.

Patina Farm | Giannetti Home –; I want to visit Patina Farm in Ojai because this entire setup with the cute little greenhouse, fruit?trees in barrels, and sitting area is beautiful. The wooden greenhouse looks welcoming and quaint.

Extend Your Summer in a Greenhouse | Hus &; Hem –; This is like a house! It is a large?and stunning greenhouse but I love that they’;ve used the space for a pretty table and mismatched chair setup among the plants.

Greenhouse Love | SF Girl By Bay –; Doesn’;t?this space look so lush? It’;s very?rustic and almost jungle-like. And I love the pebble floor with the comfy chairs and wooden table.

Greenhouses with a Scent of Mediterranean | Hus &; Hem –; This wooden greenhouse is majestic. There are massive baskets hanging inside, how cool is that? Great for storage, this stunning setup fits right into the patio area.

Armchair Gardening | Interior Magasinet –; This farm-style white greenhouse is as beautiful as it is adorable. The contrast of the white building looks amazing next to dark greenery of the trees and ivory. I’;d love to have an early morning cup of tea in there.

Greenhouse | meilla? kotona puutarha –; It would be wonderful to retreat to this beautiful plant filled space. There’;s even a chandelier with candlesticks. It’;s so romantic and lovely with the bistro style chairs. Even the pots are gorgeous.

Backyard Greenhouse | Better Homes and Gardens –; This?greenhouse feels very Pacific Northwest with the building matching the lush greenery that surrounds it. A?quiet gem in the corner of a backyard where you can go and relax with your plants.

This photo caught my eye a coupla weeks ago for a few reasons. (Polishing glasses.) Ahem:

Today’s bracelet is nothing fancy, just hemp and a single, simple bead. ?You can have lots of fun making up several of these once I show you how easy it is to make a macrame slider out of hemp. ?This sliding knot is easy to put on and take off, and you don’t need an exact wrist size so it’s great for friendship bracelets too!
